 1. Project overview

There are 4 ferrochrome smelting furnaces in the east factory area of ​​a South African chromium industry Co., Ltd., 1#, 2#, 3#, and 4#. Among them, the installed capacity of 1#, 2#, and 3# is 37MVA, and the installed capacity of 4# is 45MVA. ; There are 2 ferrochrome smelting furnaces, 5# and 6# in the west factory area, of which 5# has an installed capacity of 37MVA and 6# has an installed capacity of 45MVA. In this project, each smelting furnace is equipped with a waste heat boiler, and the waste heat boilers of 1# and 2#, 3# and 4# are placed next to each other; the waste heat boilers of 5# and 6# are arranged independently, and the boiler output All the steam is used to generate electricity by the air condenser turbogenerator set.

Due to the insufficient steam production of the waste heat boiler, it is now necessary to install a new boiler unit, and the steam generated is incorporated into the existing steam pipe network to supplement the power generation of the steam turbine. The construction scale of this project is four 25t/h chain furnace boilers (2.5MPa 400℃).
