The power house shall comprise of 01 No. multi-fuel fired (coal + Biomass) fired super heated boiler with following specifications.

This equipment shall be located in an independent building with the operating level at a height of 3-m over the floor level. One overhead traveling crane of 10 tons capacity shall be mounted to facilitate the lifting of the different equipment and parts to the operating level during the erection stage and maintenance period.

The high pressure live steam coming from the steam boilers through well-insulated, steel pipelines shall enter the turbine via throttle valve.

Forced draft type cooling tower shall be installed to guarantee the satisfactory operation of the turbo generators.

The circulation of cooling water through the air and oil coolers of the turbo generators and then back to the cooling tower shall be performed by means of a pumping system conformed by two centrifugal pumps with one of the pumps running and the other one as stand-by.
